I’ve spent 25 years in sales working for the likes of Porsche, BMW, Churchill Insurance and Carphone warehouse, with the last 10 focused on software sales, building bespoke digital platforms for companies like Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Arm, and Shell.

A common challenge I saw was businesses struggling to integrate the data into their sales and marketing processes. I realised I had a knack for solving this problem, building integrations that made their systems work together seamlessly.

That led me to HubSpot. I used it extensively throughout my career and found I could configure it to align perfectly with a company’s operations. so in 2023, I launched The Growth Architect, a consultancy dedicated to helping businesses design effective sales, marketing, and operational processes—all powered by HubSpot.

There are a few key areas I help my clients with:

  • First-time CRM implementation – Many businesses start with spreadsheets, but as they grow, they need a real CRM. I help them understand how a CRM can improve their business, convert their spreadsheets into a fully functional system, and ensure they onboard smoothly with a scalable setup.
  • CRM Migrations – Moving from one CRM to another can be disruptive, especially with large datasets. I help businesses transition to HubSpot by carefully mapping out the process before configuring the system, ensuring a seamless migration with minimal disruption.
  • Optimising HubSpot for existing users – Many companies already use HubSpot but aren’t getting the most out of it. Whether they need better reporting, automation, or custom configurations, I help unlock its full potential.
  • Bespoke software integrations – Some clients need custom solutions like customer portals or websites that connect to HubSpot. I design and project manage these builds with the help of a team of top-tier freelancers.

I typically work with businesses turning over £1M-£50M, but I also support startups looking for a scalable system at a lower price point. Ultimately, I’m a problem solver. I love streamlining processes, automating workflows, and identifying gaps in sales, marketing, and operations. My goal is to make HubSpot work for the business, rather than the other way around, I see lots of businesses trying to shoe horn their processes and strategy into an existing HubSpot template which generally creates clunky processes and can ultimately lead to a failed implementation.
